Inspero's aim is to empower and support young people and their families to lead healthy lifestyles by learning about food, and the integral role it plays in their lives. Inspero provides a range of free and affordable services including cooking and healthy eating classes, food growing and gardening, Forest School for children, adult Green Therapy classes and a gardening service for older people. Additionally we build community gardens for areas of the community eg. Noah's Ark children’s Nursery, Women's Refuge and create edible gardens and deliver horticulture projects for local schools. We work with a range of organisations including BCoT, Buckskin Community Centre, Popley Fields Community Centre, Kempshott Hall Trustees, Sovereign Housing, Dove House School, Park View School, Sainsbury's and a range of corporates eg.Fujitsu. Our work is primarily for the advancement of education and community development, helping people to lead healthier lifestyles, prevent diseases and enhance overall well-being and quality of life.

The Hornbeam Hideout is a Forest School between Basingstoke and Winchester, Hampshire and provides opportunities for holistic development in an inclusive, sensory friendly and natural environment. A space for nature connection and learning in a way that suits individual needs along with socialisation, a sense of community and support network. We specialise in working with neurodivergent young people, providing them with a safe space to in an effort to address issues of social inequality. We nurture well-being, build resilience and create community through teamwork and nature connection activities using a Forest School approach. We encourage people to connect with nature, respect themselves and their environment and support them to improve their confidence, self-esteem and social skills. Along with Forest School some of the activities the attendees can access include tool work, fire making, cooking and whittling, plant and animal ID, digging, nature crafts, gardening, nature walks and animal husbandry. The Hornbeam Hideout runs a variety of sessions including: Outdoor Explorers Nature Discovery After School Club Nature Discovery Holiday Club The Wild Ones Home Educator Forest School The Wilder Ones Adult Group The Hornbeam Hideout team also provides Alternative Provision for children with an EHCP looking for an alternative setting to support their wellbeing and development. We also have links with a local farm and provide support with farm visits to schools from the surrounding area. As more research shows the benefits to health and well-being of being outdoors and the detrimental effects of too much time spent indoors in front of a screen, we are uniquely positioned to provide a much needed service. The Hornbeam Hideout is run by a small team including volunteers who provide their time and expertise. As a community enterprise we rely on donations and particularly of resources to keep costs low as well as sustainable. Outdoor resources and equipment are very important for all attendees to use as they learn and play at Forest School. We are always on the look out for any donations including: Tools e.g. spades, trowels, rakes, saws, work-horse Canopies - for shelters Pergolas/gazebos - for outdoor learning areas Ropes/paracord Soil, plants and containers for gardening Sheds for storage Wood/willow and hazel for activities Fire pit Outdoor cooking equipment Storage containers Fundraising Aims Re-investment in the company to help improve the sessions, e.g. purchase new resources and maintenance of the existing facilities Sustainable use of resources and upcycling To help finance the growth of the sessions and support provided To run sessions at a discounted rate for members of the community who are unable to fund the sessions themselves.
