How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We are Winners’ World, a faith-based charity committed to supporting those in need—spiritually, emotionally, and financially when necessary. We provide food items and essential groceries sourced from various stores to individuals and families facing hardship. We distribute these supplies during our mid week services and Sunday gatherings at the church premises. To reach more people, we hand out flyers during our evangelism outreach and host occasional tea & biscuits mornings to raise awareness about our charity programs. Part of Our mission is simple: to serve our community with compassion, offering consistent food support alongside spiritual encouragement to uplift lives. Living Stones Pantry

Birmingham, UK

The Living Stones Pantry is housed within a dedicated space within our Media Centre. This designated area serves as the heart of our operations, where we diligently work to provide support and resources to those in our community who are in need. We extend our services to the entire community, with a particular focus on assisting families and the elderly, often referred to us through word of mouth. Each session offers warm drinks and light refreshments, fostering a welcoming atmosphere where individuals can engage in friendly conversation while awaiting their shopping slot. Service users contribute £5 per shop (£5 goes back into running costs - Utilities, rent, staff), receiving an average of £15-20 worth of food and household items, while refreshments are provided free of charge. Additionally, we host tea and coffee gatherings every Tuesday morning. As members of FareShare Go, we have the privilege of accessing surplus food from both Tesco and ASDA. Additionally, we've recently become paid members of FareShare, who have provided positive feedback following their inspection of our facilities. This partnership allows us to further our mission of reducing food waste and supporting those in need within our community. Our CAP Money Coaches can also provide budgeting courses on an when needed basis. Having access to such courses can empower individuals to take control of their finances and make informed decisions about their money.
