Edinburgh (Temporary Office until Sept 2024)

The ‘Greenhouse Pantry’ is there to increase access and affordability of nutritious food to those living in the Greater Craigmillar area who may be on a limited food budget and experiencing food insecurity. Using ‘Your Local Pantry’ model which gives individuals and families living in Craigmillar access to a £4.50 weekly membership to purchase 10 food items plus fruits, vegetables and bread which would equate to £20 worth of food. The fruits and vegetables available also feature locally grown produce from our community garden as well as freshly prepared nutritious meals to be stored in fridges/freezers for members to pick up.

Friends of Seaview was set up to promote, advance and further its charitable purposes by supporting (financially and otherwise) Seaview Children's centre, currently in Bingham ave. which provides planned short breaks to children and young people who have a learning and/or physical disability and also offers parents and carers regular respite time. The charity will do this by supporting the provision of additional services, facilities and equipment to help the Seaview centre provide sustainable care services to children and young people in and around Edinburgh.

The prevention and relief of poverty and the relief of men in need by reason of ill health, disability or any other disadvantage to access interview appropriate clothing free of charge, in order to progress the quality of their lives by moving into employment.
