How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Premier Foods has donated volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Pilgrims Hospice Ashford

Ashford, UK

Pilgrims run three hospices across Kent (Ashford, Canterbury and Thanet) providing specialist palliative care services to patients through inpatient and day care, clinics, support at home from teams of community nurses and a 24-hour helpline. Families receive social, pastoral and bereavement support from teams of professionals at all three hospices. There is also an education centre that provides training and education for professionals and the public. Everyone at Pilgrims Hospices is dedicated to ensuring people living with a life limiting illness can access the quality care and comfort they deserve, when and where they want it. We help them to live well in every moment, in mind and body. Many of the services we offer are about helping people to live better. We can't necessarily add days to lives, but with your support we can add life to days. To achieve our vision we need to raise £11m a year through fundraising so that we can continue providing specialised end of life care to local people and their families, friends and carers. This is only possible with the ongoing support and generosity of our volunteers, local businesses and various groups throughout our community.
