The Family Haven helps economically vulnerable families with children under the age of five. At our Day Centre in central Gloucester, we provide a safe, warm place for people to come to during the day. It is a place where they can find respite, make friends and access the help and support they need. The Centre offers high-quality childcare at our Ofsted Registered nursery which is rated Outstanding. Here children have a space where they can learn and thrive while Parents can take a little time for themselves in our parents' room which has comfy sofas and a TV. We also provide bathroom facilities with towels and toiletries and laundry facilities were people can wash and dry clothes. We believe that no child should go hungry and our kitchen provides a hot, home cooked and nutitionally balanced meals for everyone who who attends.

James Hopkins Trust provides nursing respite care for life limited and life threatened young children in Gloucestershire. Our local children's charity was founded in 1989. We provide our specialist service at our centre, Kites Corner in Barnwood or within the family home. At our centre, we provide daily respite care session and overnight stays. Currently we support 104 children across the Gloucestershire. We do not receive very limited government funding, and our service is completely free to the families.
