Each year, this local baby bank transforms the lives of thousands of families living in poverty in Surrey and Croydon by providing essential items (safe beds, warm clothes, school uniforms, toiletries and age-appropriate toys and books) ensuring children aged 0-18 years can reach their potential. Founded in 2013, Stripey Stork has grown into a vital community lifeline, working with 367 referral organisations in 2024 to support 18,692 children. Their unique model - 'local families helping local families' - rehomes good quality items, giving them a new life with those who need them most.
