For the love of food Salford c.I.c

Salford, UK

We started in 2020 during Covid to those who needed that extra support during those tough times due to the Covid outbreak. For the love of food Salford are a non-profit organisation supporting families, veterans and pensioners in need in Salford operating out of Mary Magdalen's Church Hall in Winton. We were originally set up at Mona street where we had a fantastic 3 years of healthy hot cooked meals for those in need. We delivered meals three days a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Those in need could either order one, three, five or seven meals dependent on their own preference. We could cater to any dietary requirements and menus work on a four-week rolling system Since then, we are now are more food redistributors and work with other food pantry's, such as Little Hulton Big Local and Two Brews, and help them keep topped up. We are rescuing food and supporting people in need. We are looking to re-open our catering service.
