How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Wellington Nursery

Ipswich, UK

We are a non- profit, charity run nursery based in Ipswich, supporting families in a disadvantaged area. We are based within a children's centre, which support the local area in a variety of ways such as groups and check ins. We are currently setting up a free pantry to support our local families with food and clothing, which will noy only benefit the nursery families but also those that attend the children's centre. Our goal is to create a real sense of community and help ease the financial burdens in the current climate, providing a non-judgemental space where our families feel they can grab an item they need, also supporting one another by donating no longer needed items themselves.
