The Hale Community Centre is a community resource that provides a range of services, Including a Community Fridge & Cupboard. We aim to re-distribute unwanted edible food from local businesses and individual households, which can then be taken by anyone who wants to get involved with the project. This prevents the food going to waste and into landfill. We would like to become a part of the community and bring people together, whilst looking after our environment.

The Community Grub Hub CIC is a registered Community Interest Company (No. 13739432), set up in the heart of Aldershot in December 2021 to help residents of Rushmoor. Our story began as a response to the challenges of the pandemic, with a food hub at Princes Hall in Aldershot. What started as a partnership with the Park Church Food Larder evolved into the Community Grub Hub, finding a home in the ex-St John's Ambulance building in Windsor Way, Aldershot, close to the train station and town centre. Our main purpose is to; - Reduce food poverty in the local community - Help the environment by reducing food waste To achieve this we; - Run a food bank where people can get food and donate food - Collect and share food using local networks and partners In addition we; - Provide a friendly welcome space where people can relax and chat - Work with our partners to offer our visitors "signposting", including advice on jobs, benefits, housing, debt management, health and mental wellbeing. - Use of computers to develop digital skills and assist with searches and benefits.

St Martin’s Church serves the local community by seeking to be a place of welcome, hope, practical care, and belonging. We are committed to loving our community in visible and meaningful ways, especially by helping to combat poverty, loneliness, and social isolation. Through our free community cafés, Free Community Breakfast, food support, warm welcome, and partnership working, we aim to create safe and friendly spaces where people can find friendship, encouragement, and practical help. Many who come through our doors are facing financial pressure, isolation, bereavement, anxiety, ill health, or simply the need for company and connection. We want every person to know that they are seen, valued, and loved. St Martin’s also works closely with local organisations, charities, schools, council partners, and community groups to strengthen support across the area. Whether through offering hospitality, signposting to further help, hosting community initiatives, supporting families, or simply providing a listening ear, our heart is to build community and reduce isolation. At the centre of all we do is our Christian faith and our desire to share the love of Jesus in practical, compassionate, and inclusive ways. We want St Martin’s to be a church at the heart of the community, where people of all ages and backgrounds can find welcome, friendship, support, and hope.
