How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

About BUMENTORING CIC Helping people discover their potential and build a better future. BUMENTORING CIC is a community interest company based in Medway, Kent, established to support personal development, mentoring, skills development and positive progression within our community. We believe that within every young person lies a treasure and a solution. Our work is built around the belief that people can develop their abilities, overcome barriers and make a meaningful contribution to society when they receive the right guidance, encouragement and opportunities. Through mentoring, personal development and employability support, we help people build confidence, recognise their strengths, develop practical skills and take achievable steps towards education, training, employment or self employment. We have a particular interest in supporting young people aged 16 to 26 who are not in education, employment or training, as well as those facing barriers to opportunity. We also seek to support adults who need guidance, encouragement or help to identify their next steps in life, learning or work. Our initiatives, including Project RISE and Ant Academy, focus on helping people identify their potential, develop their abilities and turn their aspirations into practical action. We aim to encourage resilience, responsibility, preparation, cooperation and lifelong learning. How your support makes a difference We welcome opportunities to work with local businesses, charities, volunteers and community organisations that share our commitment to improving lives and strengthening communities. Support from the Neighbourly community can help us provide more accessible and engaging activities, reach people who need additional support and develop opportunities for learning, personal growth and employability. Our priority needs include: Surplus food and refreshments. Donations of surplus food, snacks and refreshments can help support mentoring sessions, workshops and community activities, while ensuring usable food goes to a worthwhile community purpose. Volunteers and mentors. We welcome people who can contribute their time, experience, knowledge and practical skills to encourage and guide young people and adults. Learning resources and equipment. Donations of stationery, books, computers, laptops and other suitable equipment can help participants develop digital, communication, organisational and employability skills. Facilities and activity resources. Access to suitable spaces, furniture and materials can help us deliver mentoring sessions, workshops, group activities and personal development opportunities. Business and community partnerships. We value connections with employers and other organisations that can offer careers guidance, workplace insights, skills training, work experience and routes into education, training or employment. Working together for a stronger community We recognise that lasting progress often begins with a practical opportunity

Fairways Accomodation Support Trust

Chatham, UK

Fairways Accommodation Support Trust is a brilliant homeless charity head-quartered at Chatham Town centre. We offer affordable homes to rent, accommodation for people who need support and care to live within the community. Homeless and vulnerable adults can find a safe place to stay with us. Just as importantly, we offer support for adults experiencing alcohol and substance abuse and young offenders making the transition from young offenders institutions. We assess them to make sure they have the right accommodation for their needs. We then empower them to be reintegrated back into the community. Fairways Trust contributes to the youth development in the community. We inspire and encourage young people to overcome their personal challenges and achieve their aspirations. Collaboration is so important to us - we work with other groups to boost our tenants' quality of life and the lives of their family members. We work with other homeless charities, helping our tenants to find other agencies including the Probation Service, KCA, Equinox and more. Our philosophy is "service to humanity is the best work of life". That's why we're so dedicated to running affordable homes with support opportunities that truly meet the needs of the communities we serve. All our homes are backed up by lots of fantastic housing services, including our own professional team who repair and maintain our houses. With your support, we'll continue to be active and important members of the local community.

Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service.
