HeBrews is a Pay As You Feel Coffee Shop is on mission! Our goal is to minimise good food going to landfill by providing free/affordable meals to members of our local community. We are not just about feeding our community, we aim to provide a safe haven for all, including the most vulnerable groups in our community. The Pay As You Feel (PAYF) scheme allows people to pay for their meals according to their means and enables those better off to pay a little more to cover the cost of food supplied to those with little or no money. FareShare goods are displayed during opening hours and available to all. Financial donations are always welcome but not necessary. Our Loaves & Fishes lunch project provides free packed lunches to all children regardless of circumstances, in the school holidays. In 2023 we distributed a total of 4958 lunches in the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays. HeBrews is open Tuesday to Friday, term time only. A dedicated team of volunteers run the coffee shop.
