Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals Charity (BSUH Charity)

Brighton, UK

BSUH Charity supports all wards and departments at our 4 hospitals: Royal Sussex County, Royal Alexandra Children’s, Princess Royal and Sussex Eye. We enhance the Trust’s care and services, helping care to go above and beyond what we can do with core government funding. Your support will improve care for patients today. The Royal Sussex County Hospital is the Major Trauma Centre for the region, and is our centre for emergency and tertiary care. The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital (The Alex) provides outpatient services, inpatient facilities, intensive care and a 24-hour emergency care service for children referred by GPs and other specialists. The Princess Royal Hospital has a 24/7 Emergency Department for its local population and is also our centre for elective surgery. The Sussex Eye Hospital (SEH) provides outpatient and children's opthalmology services. Additionally, an Eye-specific Accident & Emergency is located in the hospital, along with operating theatres and Pickford Ward. Support for any of our hospitals may sometimes be further directed to a particular ward or department. Donations to the BSUH Charity enhances through state-of-the-art equipment, specialist training for staff, environmental upgrades, and medical innovations discovered through research. Every penny we raise has a direct impact on people’s lives when they need it most. Your donation today will make a real difference. Thank you!
