We are a charity who provides care and supports the welfare and advancement of people with disabilities and their families living in Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire. Services include Playschemes, befriending, teenage and youth services, and sports clubs. Our aim is to respond to individual needs; to support and encourage individuals to be apart of their community; for them to have equal opportunities; to encourage them to make social relationships; and to support them to live as independently as possible. We also run a fully functioning Community Centre in Landport, in the heart of the Charles Dickens Ward of the city. We provide and enable community-run facilities, activities, services including (but not restricted to): sports, arts, crafts, older person's clubs, IT, volunteering, Portchester Gala, community events, volunteering/work placements, second-hand bookshop, information centre, copying, internet access and a Community Food Pantry.

Naomi House & Jacksplace are hospices for life limited and life threatened children and young adults. We offer a vital service allowing families to take advantage of much needed respite, community, emergency, end of life and post-bereavement care. Naomi House is full of noise, love and laughter, with nursing staff providing individualised nursing care that helps to enhance short lives and allows families to make the most of their precious time with their children. There are eleven children’s bedrooms and five family bedrooms at Naomi House, along with a broad range of facilities including music therapy, computers, multi-sensory play rooms and a bereavement suite. Jacksplace is a specialist hospice that cares for teenagers and young adults aged 16 to 35. Jacksplace has six bedrooms equipped with specialist beds, hoists and state of the art en-suite bathrooms, and gives life limited and life threatened young adults the privacy, independence and dignity they deserve. The charity employs highly skilled doctors, nurses, carers and play specialists, as well as an experienced family support team who offer practical, emotional and spiritual support for the whole family, throughout their child’s life and after death. Naomi House & Jacksplace provides the compassionate care that families need on good days, difficult days and last days.
