The charity delivers free counselling support to anyone facing an unplanned pregnancy or struggling after a termination or pregnancy loss. Our client-led approach gives clients the opportunity to talk about their thoughts and feelings in a safe, non-judgemental environment. In 2020, we recievied 70 referrals for support through our website, GP's, midwives and other local charities. Options also delivers interactive educational sessions to young people on the myths and facts about sex, healthy relationships, sexual health, consent, online safety and the consequences of risky sexual behaviour including an unplanned pregnancy and the three options: abortion, adoption or parenting.

The Apuldram Centre

Chichester, UK

The Apuldram Centre (based in Chichester, West Sussex) was established in 1989, we reach and support over 100 local adults with learning disabilities and their families. We enable up to 32 tenants to live independently in their own homes (supported living), 67 people (35 each day) attend our dedicated rural Day Centre to participate in meaningful occupational activities. In central Chichester we run a community service three days a week for adults with learning disabilities who live alone or with parents/carers and who wish to engage with likeminded peers in a safe, friendly and enriching environment. We support adults through all stages of their life; several of our beneficiaries have been supported by the charity since its inauguration. Our connection with providing support to Chichester residents is longstanding; we provide over 2,000 hours of support activity per week to enable adults with learning disabilities to maximise their independence and live the lives they choose. We promote ability within disability, our on site shop and café is open to the public Monday to Friday.
