We have a group of volunteers who collect surplus from Marks and Spencers on every school day. The surplus food is then displayed at our school, for our parents to collect and take home. This is an invaluable service, which benefits our parents greatly, especially in times of hardship. There is no charge for this service.

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families, across South-West London, North-West London and Surrey. We’re here to make every moment count, whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months, or years. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional, and medical care. Our specialist care and support is free of charge and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We support around 600 babies, children, or young adults who have a life-limiting condition and their families, as well as around 400 bereaved families. It costs £14 million a year to run Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our services going.

Ryde, UK
We are a local volunteer run drop in centre based in Ryde on the Isle of Wight set up to help those most in need. We opened on the 17th of April 2011 and are open every Sunday evening at St Mary's Presentation House, 55 High Street, Ryde from 5-7pm. We are always in need of financial support and for food donations to secure the long term future of this much needed facility. If you feel you might be able to help us either with financial aid or you would like to aid us as a volunteer, we would love to hear from you.
