The Co-operative Food - Tadley, Franklin Avenue

The TDCA is a registered charity and is responsible for the management and maintenance of two buildings, The Link and The Point. TDCA aims to promote the buildings as a focal point of the local area by providing a wide variety of resources and services for the community including pre-school provision, health activities, clinics, senior citizen clubs, parent and toddler groups, activities for those with learning disabilities, youth activities and life long learning and social gatherings. The TDCA does not receive any annual revenue funding from central or local government. Its annual running costs are met by the actions of dedicated staff and volunteers generating income through hall hirings and social events.

Ashford Hill Primary School PTA would like to replace the wooden play area that is rotting and falling apart. Ashford Hill Primary School is a small rural village school in North Hampshire. We have 5 classses and about 140 children aged between 4-11 with children coming from the surrounding villages of Headley, Kingsclere and Baughurst. The current wooden Play equipment is used by all the classes and was installed in 2006. Parts of the equipment have started to rot and some have been replaced already but it is becoming too expensive to replace each part individually. The PTA (Parents Teachers Association) have been fundraising for the last year and have raised approximately £9000 towards the project by means of Cake Sales, Christmas Fayres, Second hand Clothing donations, Easter Egg Hunts, Camping and a Summer Fete. We now would like to raise the extra funds to complete the project.
