To act as a resource for young people living in our community providing advice and assistance and organising programmes of physical education and other activities. To enable young people to advance in life by developing their skills, capacities and capabilities to ensure their participationin society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. To provide recreational and leisure-time activity in the interests of social welfare and with a view to improving the conditions of life of those members of the community who, by reason of youth, age, infirmity or disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances, will benefit.

We are organising the queens Jubilee and parade in Selsey, and find we need more money than we have! The aim of the day is to give thanks for the loyal and steadfast reign of our queen, to give the people of Selsey a proud day to remember and to spotlight our town, creating a feeling of well being for all of our residents and businesses. So Far we have organised market stalls, a parade of our local groups, musical entertainment, donkey rides and more. Your monies would help to advertise with posters and leaflets, and toilets, and health and safety, and bunting, and first aiders, and ..........!!!

First Responders help provide emergency life saving care to patients. At the beginning of the pandemic, due to the lack of PPE, we were unable to answer any calls. This situation has now improved and we are now in a position to answer calls from the South Eastern Ambulance Service. We have now recruited two more Responders to give further cover in the District and have two more awaiting training. Unfortunately due to Covid, one of our main sources of income in the past has been collecting tins in shops, this has now been affected due to shop closures which has meant we have had to give up our Responder car. Fortunately one of the members purchased the car and is running it as a Responders car, this has saved the Charity over a £1,000 a year in Insurance, tax and servicing costs.
