Wickham Community Centre is a vibrant and busy community centre in rural Hampshire. We are developing a range of community projects to enhance the lives of local people. These include: • The Wickham Pantry - run by volunteers to provide discount food to its members with the aim of food justice for all. • Wickham Community Garden - an oasis of calm, providing gardening and learning opportunities and produce to village residents • Wickham Community Fridge - saving food from landfill • Meon Valley Tots - play and stay activities for parents and young children • Monday Lunch club - a monthly gathering for older residents • Wickham Flicks - a monthly cinema club, a world away from the multi-screen experience The centre is a charity and run by local people, for local people. Its facilities provide local groups and businesses a venue at an affordable price. The centre offers a wide range of opportunities, from crafts to education to sports and more, all locally and not for profit.

Eastleigh Live At Home is a local arm of the MHA charity, who are working to reduce loneliness and isolation in older people within the Eastleigh borough. We run social and exercise groups and activities along with a befriending service. MHA as a whole is a charity providing care, accommodation and support services for older people throughout britain. we are one of the largest charitable care providers in the sector and amongst the largest charities in britain, providing services to 15,000 older people for nearly 70 years.

Solent Youth Action (SYA) is a youth provision charity supporting young people aged 10- 25 with additional needs, learning and physical disabilities, mental health issues, young carers with challenging behaviours, those at risk of exclusion, those not in employment, education or training, and those at risk of exploitation. We run supported social activities including youth clubs and holiday schemes, supported volunteering projects, provide one to one support to help vulnerable children to engage in activities in their community, and deliver intervention workshops directly in schools for children with emotional and behaviours difficulties and those who are excluded from mainstream education. We provide safe environments to enable young people to develop their independence, social skills and improve their emotional well-being. We provide support for young people to gain tangible qualifications in construction, horticulture, forest schools and teamworking, as well as supporting families to help reduce the barriers to their children engaging in our services.
