How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Intact Insurance has donated money and volunteer time, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Kids Inspire

Chelmsford, UK

Kids Inspire is a charity supporting children, young people and their families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and other mental health concerns. Creative therapy gives a young person a weekly space while trauma resolution services help a child to process adverse life experiences. They are taught a range of skills to enable them to cope with and be resilient to life’s daily challenges. Alongside this, we work with their family. More young people than ever are asking for our help, which is why we are leading the way to deliver lasting mental health and trauma recovery support.

Smart Works Charity

London, UK

Smart Works is a dynamic, high profile and fast-growing UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for success at their job interview. We empower each woman by giving her the clothes and the confidence she needs to succeed. After visiting Smart Works, 69% of clients secure a job within a month, gaining financial independence and transforming their lives. The Smart Works service is delivered in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Newcastle, Reading and Leeds. Over the past ten years, Smart Works has helped over 35,000 women. It is our mission that any woman who needs our service should be able to find her way to a Smart Works centre. In April 2022, Smart Works launched a new Three-Year Plan that will see the charity double the number of women helped annually from 5,000 to 10,000 women a year. To achieve this, we will grow our existing centres and open new centres in areas of need including Bristol and Liverpool. Smart Works has been voted Social Action Charity of the Year.
