The Ickle Pickles Children's Charity aims to give every newborn a chance. We do this through the provision of new and much needed equipment for neonatal units and facility improvements for affected families. small babies : big difference One in 13 babies are born prematurely - in the UK that’s over 90,000 babies every year. Ickle Pickles are the smallest and sickest babies who need intensive care in neonatal units. Ickle Pickles can be a full term babies (40 weeks) requiring treatment or surgery or more likely babies born prematurely (before 37 weeks). Babies born before 27 weeks are classed as extremely premature and it is often the tiniest babies who need the most help. Since 2009, the Ickle Pickles children’s charity has raised over £3 million for the intensive care equipment that treats these babies and helps to keep them alive.... The objectives of the Ickle Pickles are to: To advance the education of the general public in all areas relating to premature birth of babies; . (a) to provide or assist in the provision of equipment, facilities, personnel and services ancillary to or in conjunction with those provided by the National Health Service for the purpose of: . (i) relieving sickness and preserving the health of premature babies and term babies in need of medical assistance born in England and Wales; 
 . (ii) easing the suffering of and providing palliative care to babies born in England and Wales where appropriate; and 
 . (iii) supporting the parents of premature babies born in England and Wales; 
 . (b) to facilitate the return home of premature babies or term babies which require special medical support born into low income families born in England and Wales by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and services not normally provided by the National Health Service and 
 . (c) to advance the education of the general public in the subject of platelet donation.

Rowans Hospice

Rowans Hospice provides palliative and end of life care to the highest quality for those living with a life-limiting illness in the South East of Hampshire. Our highly trained hospice carers help to improve quality of life for the patient by easing physical symptoms as well as offering psychological, spiritual and social support to both patients and their loved ones. Our dedicated hospice care is available round the clock either in house or at home, as well as offering services for day visitors in our Living Well Centre. Whilst our care is provided free of charge, we are in fact a charity and 90% of our income is generated by legacies, donations, fundraising and our retail shops. Through generous donations and fundraising we continue to provide much needed support to the community and make a difference to so many lives.

The Rosemary Foundation

The Rosemary Foundation Hospice at Home provides nurse-led care for individuals, as well as support for their carers, in their home free of charge. We offer personal care and emotional support to the individual and their family for as long as it takes, whether that is days, weeks or months. We then continue to support those left behind for as long as they need us through our Bereavement and Counselling service. We receive no statutory funding, relying entirely on fundraising, donations, legacies and trusts.
