We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers. We deliver care that is special and unique to each individual. • All of our services are provided free to adult patients and their families. • The care we provide is tailored to the needs of each patient. • We help people living with cancer and other terminal illnesses. • Our services are provided by a team of dedicated health and social care professionals. • Care is provided both at the Hospice and in patients' own homes. • 90p of every £1 received goes towards patient care. • Our 300 staff are helped by over 1,000 volunteers. • We have 25 charity shops located throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. • Over 21,000 people play our weekly LOROS Lottery. • We work in partnership with higher and further education providers to supply education, training and support to over 1,000 health and social care professionals every year. • Research is a key part of our work. Our care is based on the latest research, with our research programme directed at improving care for patients, their families and carers. • LOROS works collaboratively with other local health and social care providers to benefit patient care. We also work closely with those responsible for commissioning health care across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. • It costs us £7.5 million each year to be able to deliver our services. The NHS does give us some money, but we still need to raise at least £4.5 million each year from our local community.

To take in and care for stray and unwanted dogs from the west midlands area and find new homes where possible. provide education to schools and other community groups in responsible dog ownership. fundraising to ensure the on-going provision of service.

The Sea Cadets is a youth organisation for ages 10-18 that instils valuable life skills such as teamwork, self-respect, and social responsibility through maritime-themed training and activities. Inspired by naval traditions, the programme offers practical experiences in seamanship, boating, leadership, and community service, all supported by dedicated adult volunteers. By participating in the Sea Cadets, young people build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of citizenship while enjoying adventure and camaraderie. The movement has a rich history and continues to adapt, helping cadets discover new skills and opportunities both on and off the water.
