A Decade of Compassion: The Story of Worcestershire Homeless Shoe Box and Gift Bag Appeal Ten years ago, a small dream to bring comfort and hope to those in need grew into something extraordinary. From humble beginnings, we’ve provided thousands of hot meals, clothing, and launched a community pantry and fridge seven years ago—saving tons of food from landfill to nourish local and surrounding communities. Challenges came, but seeing smiles and making a difference made every effort worthwhile. We’ve moved from a van to two dedicated units, thanks to incredible volunteers, donors, and supporters. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re filled with gratitude. Thank you for helping us build a kinder community—here’s to the next ten years, together. (250 characters exactly including spaces)

Moving Forward Community Fridge is a community initiative that helps people access free, good-quality food while reducing food waste. We collect surplus food from local businesses, organisations, and members of the community and make it available to anyone who needs it. We aim to support individuals and families facing financial difficulties, bring people together, and build a stronger, more caring community. What we do 🥦 Redistribute surplus food that would otherwise be thrown away. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Support local people and families who may be struggling with the cost of living. ♻️ Reduce food waste by giving edible food a second use. ❤️ Create a welcoming, non-judgmental space where everyone can access food with dignity. 🤝 Work with local organisations, businesses and volunteers to strengthen community support. 📦Share essential food items and donations when available.
