Help for All Gwent is a local voluntary group that accepts donations from the local community and donate to people in need. This includes essential items such as food, clothing and household items. We work closely with a local charity that donates furniture to families in need and help people in crisis with sourcing clothes and furniture. Families can register with Help For All Gwent to receive weekly or biweekly food parcels. The group is run by volunteers who collect food from Sainsbury’s and Aldi. The food is then distributed to families who can either collect or have delivered to them if they have no means of transport. We work closely with other local charities and community groups and cover each other's food collections if needed. Volunteers have completed basic food safety training to enable them to.distribute all food collected and understand the importance of food safety.

We are starting a pay as you feel shop, Blenheim's Bocs Bwyd to benefit the residents of Cwmbran . In particular the immediate community of Blenheim Road Community Primary School. This will be a service without discrimination, supplying the community with food, in order to relieve poverty and improve the social welfare. In turn improving the conditions of life for the residents within our community. We hope to use retail and growing aspects of the project to advance education and training opportunities especially among the unemployed. Additionally, to promote learning for pleasure through individual capabilities, skills and understanding of educational values expereinces. Furthermore, to promote social inclusion to the public benefitting families from becoming socially excluded. We hope to relieve the needs of those who are socially excluded and assit to integrate into society by increasing opportunities for single parents, and for those not in full time employment to engage with service providers to receive training and opportunities.

We are a social enterprise based in an area of Newport (Gwent) suffering major deprivation. We run a community cafe that offers free meals to residents,' where we try and remove the stigma of food poverty, by pivoting the approach to come from a sustainability focus. We would like to offer a similar scheme to this but with a 'take home' bag. currently, we fund this activity through a variety of other community-focused activities. We also run an adult learning disability program that teaches them skills and techniques to prepare meals for themselves, using a system called TSI (training in Systematic Instruction) so prepare a lot of meals on a repetitive basis that the learners take home..
