How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Kettering Foodbank

Kettering, UK

Kettering Foodbank exists because no one should go hungry. We provide people with food in time of crisis, and help to identify and resolve the underlying issues that cause them to fall into food poverty. We assess the situation of anyone who applies for a food parcel so that we can understand their particular needs, and sign post to other agencies for help and advice . Hopefully this will help individuals get out of food poverty and discourage food bank dependency . We are happy to promote our foodbank via local radio, and by giving talks to local businesses, schools and churches. We accept referrals from agencies within our area, from the local homeless teams, to schools and various NNC depts. Any surplus food we receive we have a 'help yourself' table outside our premises which is very well known and used. We try to ensure NOTHING goes to landfill..

Kettering, UK

Teamwork is a successful social enterprise helping vulnerable adults to achieve their goals. At Teamwork Trust we care and are passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to the same chances, choices and opportunities and we embrace and celebrate individual needs and abilities. We aim to deliver an environmental impact agenda, developing a resource in 'Easy Read'. To be project based, legarning will involve actively identifying an activity that supports environmental concerns - litter picking, waste packaging, light bulbs, single use plastic. Our Wood Shed - with a focus on repurposing wood & furniture. Creating promotional materials for social media. At our Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough centres we work with and support our Northamptonshire members – adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities – who can choose from our enabling and education projects, activities and counselling programmes.
