ALDI WEDNESFIELD

We are a local Christian community project, who run Wolverhampton's main foodbank. We support city residents, plus some in the villages bordering the North of the city. We help families & single people in severe financial difficulties by delivering free food parcels to where they live. The parcels include both tinned/dried, fresh and frozen foods, as well as toiletries,household supplies,baby toiletries and pet food. Each parcel aims to provide 3 days of food to all in the household. We partner with statutory/voluntary agencies who assess/refer those in need. Sadly, the need for our service continues to grow. New testament church of god (ntcg) is a religious organisation (church/charity/company) the church/charities. Our main objectives is directed towards the propagation of the gospel according to the acts and teachings of the church of God. Willenhall Tabernacle is a community Church. Our vision and mandate is to have the church doors open for everyone in the community. Reaching out to all walks of life, for not just the spiritual word but the physical bread also. We have a weekly Soup Kitchen for the local community where we feed and fellowship with people from all walks of life. Our Church is made of a high nunmber of elderly. It is important for us as a Church to make sure our brethren are looked after during this pandemic. This includes Social distancing visits and calls, video calls to those who have access and weekly checks to see if our seniors are coping with being in lockdown. Due to pride, we have found many members too proud to ask for help. So we do what we can to help everyone that needs it.

AHG Donations distributes food from shops, and restaurants to support those in need aswel as the local community. Surplus food is collected from supermarkets and restaurants. We have access to food products such as tins, dry food, chilled and frozen. Reducing food waste helps the planet and prevents tonnes of food being wasted each day when there is so many people in need. We believe that every person has a part to play in reducing food waste and looking after the planet.
