Known to children and young people simply as “The Way”, Wolverhampton Youth Zone is a purpose‑built facility supporting young people aged 8–18, and up to 25 for those with additional needs. Open weeknights and Saturdays, The Way provides a safe, welcoming place for young people from across the city and surrounding areas. For an annual membership of just £5 and 50p per visit, young people can access: A hot meal or snack A trusted adult to speak to A safe place to spend time Over 20 weekly activities, including arts, music, media, sports, fitness, recreation, cooking, and more The Way works in partnership with local government, businesses, families, and the wider community to ensure young people have the support, opportunities, and experiences they need to thrive today and into adulthood. High Oak Youth and Community Centre work with people in all aspects of life. We work with people to improve their spiritual, mental and physical lives. We also work to encourage people in the community to get involved in social action and improve their local community. Our aims are to enable the community to engage in positive activities and training that will improve their local economy, their environment and give them a better chance to gain employment and an improved qualify of life. High Oak will also be working with other organisations, e.g. Cornerstone Community Church drawing on their resources and expertise. We deliver: Youth and community programmes and training.
