We run our humble operation out of a kitchen in the centre of Stafford town. Each week our volunteers take turns to cook a hot, home-cooked meal for our guests, who are growing in their numbers every week. Fantastic homely meals aren’t the only thing on the HOB menu, friendship, support, advice and someone to listen are available to all our visitors, or as we like to call them our friends. Ask any of our visitors and they will tell you, it isn’t a house that makes a home; it’s the family inside it. House of Bread is like a real home; we eat together, laugh together, cry together, share success and support each other in times of crisis.

MLSS is a homeless charity called Midland Langar Seva Society. We provide food, support and relief to those on the poverty line, schools in deprived areas, safe houses, shelters and those living on the streets. MLSS operate on a Sikh based ethos, where we help and support all people regardless of social status. We cook and prepare hot meals 7 days a week in 26 towns across the UK. We also provide food goody bags to those that are vulnerable. - This Christmas get involved with our annual shoebox appeal - where MLSS provide the annual Christmas dinner at the Grand Central Station - Birmingham!

Liberty Jamboree is a charity who provides youth work opportunities for young people and adults with learning and physical barriers, and or mental ill health across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Liberty believes that all our young people and adults who have disabilities or learning barriers should have access to facilities and provisions to support their inclusion within their community and their transition into adulthood and independence. Liberty services include: • Youth Clubs -age specific groups called LiberTeens, Jump into Jamboree • Liberty Jamboree - offers day provisions for members over 18 and focuses on Social and Emotional development, including life skills, independent living, employability skills (including access to National qualification @ entry levels and level 1) travel training and social opportunities. Within the employability programmes we support young people to develop their own social enterprises and offer Volunteering. • Targeted Provisions -Sign and Shine Makaton choir, gender specific youth group, Arts programmes including dance, theatre and DJing. • Sports clubs -Liberty Striders running club, HITT fitness training, football training and matches in a PAN league for boys and girls, Inclusive Rugby and boxing classes. • Participation and Consultation programmes- Liberty’s Rock Action, Youth Forum - provides a voice for young people and adults with disabilities and mental ill health both internally to help shape Liberty’s charity but also within the wider community. Recent projects have involved National Children’s Bureau, CCG Keyworker Engagement. • Liberty Dragons Den- enables a group of young people to support the management of a small budget where our youth groups can apply for resources and activities. This empowers all members to be active in the management of the programmes and budget.
