The Grantown YMCA Community Centre is very much at the heart of our local community, providing meeting facilities and hosting a variety of groups including Girl Guides, Senior Citizen's Clubs, The Sewing Bee and Tae Kwan Do, along with our Community Café every Friday, and our Pancake Brunches on the first Saturday of every month. Our main hall has been fully refurbished, bringing new life to the space, and can now be used for a variety of things including sports classes, birthday parties, dances, and much more. Youth work is very much still at the heart of what we offer, and we are delighted to see our youth clubs growing and thriving. We aim to welcome members in a meeting place which is theirs to share, and where friendships can be made and counsel sought. We develop activities which stimulate and challenge in an environment that enables members to take responsibility and find a sense of achievement, while creating opportunities to exchange views and improve their understanding of the world, themselves and one another.

We would use food donations to encourage self help skills within nursery and provide a varied snack for children. Depending on the food we recieve, we would also use it for opportunitys to cook and bake.
