How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

EATS Rosyth

Dunfermline, UK

At EATS Rosyth in Fife, we grow, eat and share food! EATS Hub usually works to share surplus food and deliver community meals on a pay as you feel basis, however during the COVID crisis we have switched to providing emergency food parcels by home delivery or collection. Please support us by donating what you can. We use food grown locally at EATS Community Garden and Centenary Orchard - come and visit and see how you can get involved in our growing project! We work hard to reduce food waste and all it’s associated carbon emissions to protect the environment.. EATS Rosyth provides a range of community services including: • Surplus food distribution and community larder • Affordable meals and community café provision • Community gardening and growing projects • Volunteer opportunities and employability support • Wellbeing and social inclusion activities • Community events and workshops • Food education and cooking activities • Partnership support for local residents and groups Our fundraising activities help us keep up with store cupboard basics for our cooking and for other materials and equipment we need to continue our project. We welcome food donations (within use by date only please). If you feel you can contribute we now have a paypal donate button on our website. Thank you - http://www.eatsrosyth.org.uk/
