Blue Triangle is a registered charity (SC010858) a registered social landlord (under the Scottish Housing Regulator), and a registered society (under the Co-operative and Community Benefits Societies Act 2014). Although we own properties, we are not a landlord in the traditional sense of the word, as the core of what we do, is called “supported accommodation” and we only accept referrals to our accommodation from local authorities. We provide safe and secure mainly hostel type accommodation for vulnerable people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or have a Looked After and Accommodated background. Staff are present on site, in some cases, 24hrs, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year, and they work with service users to help them gain the right skills to move onto more independent living and achieve a better quality of life We currently provide 17 registered services, over 25 sites employing over 300 staff based in 9 local authorities. We support 297 people a night and 665 per yr

We are Ayrshire Cancer Support, a local charity which has operated since 1982, providing emotional support and practical help to those affected by cancer. Our aim is to ensure that help is readily available throughout Ayrshire for those who need it. We deliver a range of services free of charge. These include: Hospital transport to The Beatson in Glasgow, one to one counselling, support groups, complementary therapies, cancer information, etc. We do not receive any funding so to deliver these services free of charge we rely heavily on volunteer staff and voluntary donations, charity shop income, fundraising activites, etc. Due to increased demand we require a new cancer support centre so that we can offer new and increased services. We have purchased a property and need to raise extra funds to help turn it into a fit-for-purpose support centre. Thanks for any support you can offer.
