How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Leigh, UK

Our foodbank supports people in a time of crisis, helping to reduce poverty. This project was founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in our local area. We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry, so we offer three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us. We're part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
