How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We currently are partnering with the YMCA homeless shelter by providing non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items such as blankets, body wash, toothpaste etc, once every quarter. In addition to that we are also providing pastoral care once every month to the residents. Our model of distribution is to take the items to the homeless shelter. we also intend to increase the outreach to other homeless shelters here in Crewe. We have also formed partnership with the family centre so that the items can go to those who need it the most
