We are Christ Apostolic Church Faith Chapel and we believe no one should go hunger. We care for the less privileged and homeless in our community, making food available for them three times a week and help those in need.

We are a local charity, offering various workshops and activities for all ages, food parcels and a non-binding advice service if needed. We support everyone in our community who needs support, often vulnerable and disadvantaged people throughout Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle under Lyme. Our aim is to ensure everyone feels safe and as a valued member of our community.

Asha provides a variety of services for men, women and families seeking refuge from persecution, war, civil conflict, abuse and sexual violence. Nine hundred to 1000 people are sent to Stoke by the Home Office each year while their claim is processed takes months, even years. During this time an adult will receive £7.75 a week for food, clothing, toiletries and travel. Asha’s supporters donate food and an individual can call weekly for five items, occasionally more supplies permitting. On Fridays everyone in the centre can enjoy a community lunch of food reminiscent of their country of origin.
