How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Clay Cross Foodbank

Chesterfield, UK

Clay Cross Foodbank is a Trussell Trust Foodbank We don't think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That's why we provide three days' nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who have been referred to us in crisis ( including Citizen's Advice, Health Professionals, Probation Officers, Social services, schools and churches). We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working together to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Households collect food from one of our centres, where they can also access advice from our in-house financial inclusion service in partnership with Citizens Advice North East Derbyshire. The foodbank will also support socially disadvantaged or vulnerable people by offering placements to work in the community, whatever their physical of mental capacity. We can provide opportunities for those out of work to volunteer, building their confidence and skills and gaining a recent reference.
