At Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God we help stop food going to waste and give it to those who are in need, supporting the homeless and vulnerable people. We welcome anyone, families, elderly, single people who are in need to use our food bank,there is no charge. Serving our local community is our passion. Our food bank is open Saturday mornings at our church premises in Bulwell. Opening times: 10.30am - 1pm

Edwalton Food Hub CIC is a not-for-profit, community-led organisation providing free access to surplus food for the benefit of the local community. Surplus food received via Neighbourly is redistributed directly to individuals and households experiencing food insecurity. All food is provided for community support purposes only and is not sold or used for commercial gain. Distribution takes place through our food hub in a safe, inclusive, and dignified environment. Our service operates on a no-referral, no-eligibility and no-judgement basis. Access to food is never conditional, restricted, or dependent on payment, contribution, or participation of any kind. No individual is ever refused food due to an inability or decision not to contribute. From time to time, individuals may choose to make a voluntary donation to support the ongoing running of the organisation. Donations are entirely optional, unsolicited, and separate from food access. Any donations received are used solely to support the charitable objectives of Edwalton Food Hub CIC, including transport, storage, utilities, and maintaining daily operations. All activities are carried out in line with our community interest objectives, food safety requirements, and relevant regulations. Our purpose is to reduce food waste, support people facing food insecurity, and strengthen community resilience in a transparent and responsible manner

At Nottingham Central Women's Aid, we are dedicated to providing a safe haven for women and children escaping domestic abusers. We offer secure, temporary accommodation and comprehensive support services, for women with or without children who have endured any form of abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, or economic as well as so-called "honour" based violence and female genital mutilation (FGM). We provide a secure environment where women and children can find immediate refuge and safety from abusers. We offer emotional and psychological assistance to help women rebuild their lives. We welcome women and children from all backgrounds, ensuring that every individual receives the care and support they need. Over the years, Nottingham Central Women's Aid has accommodated thousands of women and children. We have been a cornerstone in helping families recover and heal from the harm of domestic abuse and a core support in enabling them to rebuild their lives in a safe and nurturing environment. Continuous support is crucial for the sustainability of our refuge accommodation and community services. Whether through financial contributions, volunteering, or other means, your involvement can make a significant difference.
