How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Framework Housing Association Rowan House

Spalding, UK

I am a support planner in Framework Accommodation Service in South Holland. Framework Housing Association supports people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. We support people with budgeting and learning life skills which they will use once they have settled into their own accommodation. Donations of food will really help our service as we like to regularly do cooking activities for the residents to learn different cooking styles and also recipes which they haven't tried before. Also when people move into the service we will be able to use the donations towards there move in pack which helps the service user at this stressful time. A lot of our service users are on a low income and do not have the funds for food and this impacts their mental and physical health. Our service users are appreciative to the support and any donations they receive.
