A non-profit organisation that aims to provide food and household items to benefit those in need. The average family wastes £730 a year by throwing away food and drink. Help us tackle food wastage and feed those sleeping hungry in our community. All food donations received from Neighbourly will be provided for free to the Keighley community via the Keighley Community Fridge.
What we've received

Our balanced food parcels help single people and families who have found themselves in particular need at a time of crisis. We receive donations of food, toiletries and money from the local community, including churches, schools and businesses. Using these donations, we prepare single and family hampers with basic food and toiletry items to support them for a week. If we are given extra food items such as chocolate or soft drinks we give these out as well. We work with local support agencies who distribute the majority of our food parcels. These include Craven District Council, Foundation, Yorkshire Housing, Probation, Craven Centre, Citizen's Advice Bureau, Horizons, Craven Prevention Hub, Skipton and Craven Children's Centres, North Yorkshire Adult and Children's Social Care and Craven Independent Domestic Abuse Service. The Skipton Baptist Church set up and continues to manage Skipton Food Bank. The church also runs a CAP Centre (Christians Against Poverty). The two organisations work closely together to support the people we help to get out of debt.
