How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Community Kindness

Gateshead, UK

We all understand the challenges and difficult times many people are experiencing day to day, now so more than ever. The impact of these struggles can be a broad spectrum, resulting in long term emotional, physical and financial damage. At Community Kindness we recognise the need to support our community and the difference this help can make to ease the burden. In addition to our pop up food bank; which supports over 40 families every week, we fundraise by way of auctions and raffles to ensure we can continue providing the essentials every household needs to feed themselves and their families without worrying where the next hot meal will come from. Every little bit helps right? Our objectives for the future include providing hot meals to the most vulnerable in and around our community using surplus food donations, working with other organisations with the same goal and assist in furnishing homes for those in need.
