The facility will help to provide food donations and meals to any people who without discrimination would benefit from this service, including parent and toddler groups, subsidised meals group, ladies fellowship and any school children who take part in any of the activities the centre hosts (Holiday Clubs).

So we are a performing arts group who started with a few dance classes over 10 years ago. Now for The last 6/7 years have worked in a community that has needed a lot of help and suppport. We have done things such as fare share, free/ low paid classes, help with clothes, help with meals and activities in the holidays. We are looking to get support from local organisation to help provide meals for people who are struggling. We want to make meals for the community, offer them a warm secure place to come and show them the free things that will be starting again in our centre.

Lambton Community Hub are a non-profit organisation based in Lambton, Washington. We have a small community garden where we grow vegetables and fruit to hopefully use in our meals. We collect and distribute excess food from Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Booker and KFC. We distribute this food to the community and also use the produce to provide a subsidised cafe on a Tuesday( £2 for a main course, £1 for a sweet)and a lunch club on a Friday( £3 for 2 courses) as well as craft, art, yoga, and exercise classes. Some classes are free( funded by grants) and others incur a small charge( prices available below on our activities flyer). We have steadily increased our Facebook and Instagram reach and are posting normally at least every other day to spread the word about our cafe and activities. We have tried to set up a meals on wheels delivery service but sadly didn't receive enough funding so at present we offer frozen meals to take away at £2 each which have been very popular with our older customers at the cafe.
