ALDI KINGSTON UPON THAMES

Defoe Court has 21 studio flats. We provide support for young people aged 16 to 25, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and have low, medium or high support needs. Residents are encouraged to take control of their lives and build on their skills and strengths. Staff on-site 24 hours a day Short-term supported housing for up to two years Communal lounge, training and activity rooms, kitchen and courtyard We encourage our young people to eat healthily and having choices of food, and its made possible courtesy of the donations we receive from the organisations that partner with Neighbourly. We feed more than 250 homeless people every week, as well as catering for vulnerable families with children. We organise soup kitchen, drop-in centres, women and children club, pension club. We hope to widen our project by hosting a dementia club for the residents.

Working to strengthen resident migrant communities, our projects revolve around themes of reducing social isolation, inequalities and poverty and improving mental and physical health, and financial and social inclusion.
