How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

SUSTAIN

Tonbridge, UK

With the supply of perishable fruit and vegetables we aim to expand the provision of food in the food bank to encourage healthy eating and a higher intake of fresh food. The non-perishable food will be given out as food parcels as well as all produce being used in our community projects, Luncheon Club and The Day Centre for the elderly.

Look Ahead Housing Association Limited

Tunbridge Wells, UK

Look Ahead Housing and Support is a charity that helps vulnerable individuals and families, including those facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and learning disabilities. They provide safe housing, tailored support, and life skills training to help people build independent and fulfilling lives. The Domestic Abuse Team, the primary recipient of your donations, offers vital services to survivors of abuse, including crisis intervention, safe accommodations, and emotional support. They work with survivors to restore confidence and create a future free from violence. Many women and children arrive at our doors with nothing, having fled unsafe environments. Donations of fresh food, toiletries, children’s gift bags, and other essentials can help these survivors rebuild their lives. Every contribution provides safety, stability, and hope for a brighter future.

FEAST

Tonbridge, UK

We are a registered charity with a board of Trustees, committed to helping those in food poverty in our area. As a volunteer-led charity with no paid staff, we are entirely reliant on the generosity of our supporters, our fundraising efforts, and grants. Also, we provided lunches for families and individuals at various times of the year. We have six founder members’ who run the charity. Over 120 volunteers make our operation possible (we have no paid staff). Generous churches and organisations allow us to use their premises, where we run our community larders, hygiene hub, lunches, and other activities. We collect surplus food from local supermarkets and buy food from FareShare (a UK-wide network of charitable food redistributors). We also purchase food ourselves.
