We are a Christian organisation that promote the love of Jesus Christ world wide. We are set up to promote faith in God and love in the community. We share the love of Christ to all though the expression of love to all mankind across the globe. Our organisation, The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) operates in over 190 countries of the world and we are in over 700 places in the United Kingdom. We promote the true love of Christ, unity and peace among mankind. We share physical things like food, cloth etc from our donors in the communities where we operate. Duding Covid, we secured a grant of £10,000 from London Community fund for food and toiletries for BAME families. We set up a purchase and distribution plan with the local retail shops that opened at the time. Provided them with a list of the items as contents of each pack for either families or individuals. We sent out information through WhatsApp and other social media in the community requesting interested members of the community to respond to us via a dedicated number with their name, address etc. We reverted to therewith our distribution schedule and time in their area and effect deliveries accordingly. In some instances we worked with the community group leaders to reach their members in a more organised way. Overall we were able to distribute food and toiletries to over 300 BAME families in Greenwich and Bexley boroughs within a few weeks.

REHOBOTH COMMUNITY OUTREACH CLUB located 1-18 Allwood Close, Sydenham SE26 4JP is a charity and it has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1168822. Rehoboth Community Outreach club started reaching out to vulnerable families in 2013, offering befriending, parenting & life skills training. Over time the services evolved expanding to offer mentoring to young people, employment skills training and a food bank. In March 2014 Rehoboth started receiving requests for support with addressing the increasing issue of food poverty amongst the single homeless living in hostels and the local street homeless, this saw the launch of the Community Lunch Club. Initially the lunch club was feeding 20 people every Monday with a 2 course hot meal. But this number quickly grew to 150 people a week when Rehoboth partnered with Miriam Lodge providing meals to their most vulnerable homeless residents. The partnership has expanded and Rehoboth community outreach club “The Lunch Club” now deliver 200 meals every Monday across 2 hostels. In addition, we have some homeless people living locally in the community who walk-in and collect their meals. The feeding programme also provides a soup social, with home cooked vegetable and chicken soup with rolls to the residents in the hostels on a Friday. The generosity of our local donors business and others in neighbouring community, with financial donations from the church membership and individuals, make it possible to provide our services free to vulnerable individuals and families. The community outreach service is facilitated by a team of 25 volunteers who cook, serve food, clean, deliver the meals, and provide the befriending, mentoring and training activities. Rehoboth hopes to double its feeding programme to 300 meals a week by the end of 2018; to support at least 50 homeless people to capacity build their employment and life skills, enhancing their potential of accessing employment, education and training opportunities. The Rehoboth Community Outreach Club aims are to contribute to breaking the generational cycle of poverty and deprivation within families, inspire hope & healing in the heart and soul of vulnerable individuals and communities and encourage peace, unity and respect across generations. We seek and appreciate further financial, time and resource donations that enable us to meet our vision of UK communities free from food poverty and benefiting from sustained upward social and economic mobility for everyone. Life changing international Ministry is a church . Our motto is to change life through the teachings of Jesus Christ and by leading by example . Every week people from all works of life meeting to worship praise and learn the scriptures .. Due to incredible economic pressures We recently started a foodbank for our congregation . We have being inspected by Lewisham Council and we have a 4 STAR Rating . We now want to expand to cover our community . Hence this application . We currently do foodbank a on Tuesdays Fridays and Sundays . 1. Currently, the food that we receive from retailers (Asda, Waitrose, KFC, and Tesco via Fareshare and Felix project) are only distributed to the church members. But our plan eventually is to also distribute food to the people in and around Lewisham borough. 2. Once people enter the ministry (with their permission,) we collect data such as name, contact details, age and employment status 3. We prioritise food for church members who are (a) unemployed (b) on low income, and the elderly.  4. In addition to ordering food support, we also offer free spiritual counselling to church members. - we do not charge for our services 5. We do not currently collect surplus food from any other retailers 6. At the moment our services are not advertised in the local community, but we plan to do so, once we have extended our services to the local community. 7.
