How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

FEEDING THE HOMELESS & VULNERABLE

Romney Marsh, UK

We are a group of volunteers who have come together to feed the homeless in our community. We do this every Friday, Sunday, and Monday and have been doing so since the beginning of this year 2024. Our team consists of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to identify needy individuals and provide them with nutritious meals, along with any additional support they need. The Danny Gallivan Trust is a registered non-profit organisation and operates from The Picnic Hut, Burmarsh. We do not charge for any of the services we provide, and rely solely on donations and surplus food collections to maintain our operations. Please find our recent social media links, which showcase our recent activities and the efforts we have taken to help those in need. We would be happy to provide any further information, photographs, or references as required to be approved for surplus collections.
