Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, ALDI has donated surplus food and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

The Hub in Canterbury is a charity and social café, providing meals to people in need, help and advice on matters, such as energy, poverty, debt, issues, and general support. It partners with many different organisations that can benefit service users. The Hub provides a safe and supportive environment for all and provides a social facility for many people. The Hub also provides a very busy food share facility, providing food parcels to anyone in need by using surplus food from Waitrose - Fairshare - local allotments and kind donations. It is distributed between service users at no cost. The Hub is volunteer led and has a passionate team with a vision to ensure no one experiences food poverty or social isolation

At Herne Junior School we believe that happy pupils and removing barriers to their learning is the key to success, so we have a holistic approach to our pupils and families welfare. I am the Family Liaison Officer for Herne Juniors and work in partnership with families to enable pupils, particularly the most disadvantaged, to have full access to educational opportunities and to overcome barriers to learning and participation. If there are any available surplus food donations retailers, I work with a number of families who are struggling with their finances and would be very grateful to receive a little extra food to support them.
