Swansea Mind is a mental health organisation based in the city of Swansea. We are part of the network of Local Mind Associations in England and Wales. We work for the better mental health of people in Swansea by providing a range of services. We aim to: 1. Work towards a mental health service that is based on the wishes, needs and rights of people who use the service. 2. Support and empower people with mental health problems. 3. Assist in developing "good practice" in mental health services. 4. Provide information and services for people with Mental Health problems.

Maggie's Swansea is a local cancer charity that provides free practical, emotional and social support to men, women & children with cancer, their families and friends, across South West Wales. We offer a range of support including benefits advice, children's counselling services, bereavement support, cancer specific support groups, nutrition advice and post-treatment courses. We currently see over 13,000 centre visits a year and this number continues to grow. We rely solely on the generosity of our supporters and receive no funding from the government or NHS. Every penny raised stays in Swansea and helps us to continue supporting people with cancer, their families and friends across South West Wales. For more information on the support Maggie's offers please pop in to the centre (based in the ground of Singleton Hospital, SA2 8QL). We are open 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, no appointment needed.
