Great Ormond Street Hospital has over 240,000 patient visits each year. The hospital treats children for the rarest and most complex conditions and offers the widest range of paediatric services under one roof in Britain. Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity raises money to enable the hospital to provide world class care and to pioneer treatments and cures for childhood illnesses. Our hospital relies on charitable donations to raise money for vital medical equipment at the hospital, helping to treat children with serious, complex and life-threatening illnesses.

Daisy's Dream is a Berkshire based charity which specialises in working with children, young people and their families who are facing or experienced bereavement. Our mission is to provide free, professional support, led by individual needs, in a flexible and responsive manner and to help them with the changing dynamics of family life. Our vision is for families and children to be able to integrate and manage the changes in their family and move forward with confidence and resilience. Daisy's Dream was established in 1996, and has supported over 8,000 children through bereavement. Last year alone, the service supported 640 children and their families. We receive no Government or local authority funding and are totally reliant on donations from our community, as well as a small amount of trust and grant income, We need to raise £500,000 to maintain our service. We also seek to help and educate the wider community understand the impact of loss and change relating to serious illness or bereavement. Daisy's Dream is: • A free service dependent on fundraising and donations • A service delivered by professionally qualified staff • A community based outreach service • Individual support which is needs led and focuses on the child and family • Support groups for children, young people, their parents and carers • Advice, support and information to families, individuals and the wider community including Social Care, Health, Education and Voluntary agencies • Training for professionals on bereavement, serious illness and strategies to support children and young people • Social activities for families in the summer and wintertime • A service valuing the contribution of volunteers

At Sebastian’s Action Trust, we work together to enhance the well-being of children with life-limiting conditions, along with their families. We provide a tailored programme of support to help families navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with caring for a child with complex needs. We provide restorative breaks, inclusive events and activities, and emotional support, including bereavement care for those who have lost a child. We offer practical help and emergency transport in times of crisis. And we advocate for families in collaboration with other service providers. Our family centre, The Bluebells, near Basingstoke, is a sanctuary where families can come together to recharge, have fun and make lasting memories. We receive no government funding and are reliant on the generosity of our supporters to help us to continue our vital work. As a small, local charity, every pound makes a difference to the charity and the families we support.
