The Grand Appeal is the dedicated charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital. The Grand Appeal works alongside hard-working doctors, nurses, and specialist staff to ensure every sick child has access to the best possible care when they need it most. To make Bristol Children's Hospital the very best it can be, it funds everything from accommodation for families, state-of-the-art equipment, child-friendly facilities, ground-breaking medical research, a programme of arts, music, and play therapies and much more.

The British Heart Foundation is the leading funder of cardiovascular research in the country. With over 7,000,000 people living with heart disease in the country today, our aim is to reduce the impact of CVD as well as funding expansive research to help this and future generations.

We are working in partnership with St Michael's Hospital, Bristol. The Capella Foundation was born to help increase awareness of medical complications during pregnancy, make more support available to affected families and raise as much money as possible to directly fund medical research into advanced treatments. You may be interested in the story of how our teeny but important charity was founded. After hearing we had lost one of our twin babies due to complications during pregnancy, we wanted to make sure she was never forgotten. We decided to name her after a star. Capella was the perfect choice; a pretty name, the third brightest star in the northern hemisphere and visible all year round. Capella is in fact a twin star, shining bright in the sky as one. Just like Freja and Capella are for us. We know that Freja will grow up with her sister looking over her to help her through her journey. With your support, we are focused on helping to increase awareness and raise lots of money to ensure there are more positive outcomes, more frequently.
