The Brain Tumour Charity

Bexhill-on-Sea, UK

The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and support everyone affected by a brain tumour to improve their quality of life. We are committed to defending the most amazing part of the human body so that getting the diagnosis of a brain tumour no longer means a death sentence. Following our successful partnership in 2015/16, the Bexhill Marks and Spencer store will be supporting The Brain Tumour Charity again in 2017/18. The staff have lots of plans to hold some exciting fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for our causes.

Teenage Cancer Trust

West Midlands, UK

Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. We’re the only charity dedicated to providing expert care and support from the moment they hear the word cancer. We treat them as young people first, cancer patients second and everything we do aims to improve their quality of life and chances of survival. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them. There are three specialist units like this in the West Midlands. We also educate young people in schools about cancer to help improve the speed and quality of diagnosis. We rely on donations to fund our vital work. Help transform the lives of young people with cancer. Visit www.teenagecancertrust.org
