Noah's Ark Children's Hospice

Barnet, UK

At Noah’s Ark we help babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And we support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family. We provide exceptional care, organise fun activities and days out, and help families do things they never thought possible. We are here to enable those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers. We serve communities across north and central London, as well as Herts Valley, working in partnership with key NHS trusts.

Macmillan - ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’

London, UK

The first ever Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, we did it again the next year – only this time nationally. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £200 million for Macmillan. By 2020 almost 1 in 2 people will get cancer at some point in their lives, but you can help us be there for even more people affected by cancer. The fantastic fundraising efforts have enabled Macmillan to fund professional posts in local communities across the country from Macmillan Lung Clinical Nurse Specialists to Macmillan Welfare Benefits Advisors. These posts have a daily, direct impact on people affected by cancer and their families and would not exist without the support from M&S. Mind in Enfield

London, UK

We're a local charity based in Enfield promoting positive mental health. We support people living with mental health problems or at risk of them. People come to us to take part in our psychotherapeutic well-being activities and courses, enjoy our well-being café and find counselling and advice. Our group empowers people to lead a full life as part of their local community. We're working to influence and change public attitudes by inspiring people to think about mental health in new and helpful ways. Our advice and advocacy opportunities empower people to take control over their lives and build sustainable futures. What's more, we help people to have a voice in their local mental health services and play a part in creating healthier communities.
