Woking & Sam Beare Hospices

Weybridge, UK

Hospice care is based on the belief that each person is more than their illness and that each of us has unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. We respond to the needs of each individual helping people achieve the best possible quality of life. In the UK 1 person in 3 is touched by Hospice care. We need £8m every year to keep our doors open. All our services are free of any charge. Our Hospices are currently working at capacity with demand expected to increase. With this in mind, we are creating a new, state of the art Hospice in Woking with in-patient unit, day care centre and community team base. We're also creating a centre of excellence, a day care centre and base in Weybridge. Our local communities have been absolutely amazing, coming together to make this new build possible. We now have £1.9million left to raise in order to ensure the delivery of our new hospice service in the heart of Surrey that will support all of us and our loved ones for generations to come. Thank you so much for your support! We were so delighted to be chosen as M&S Brooklands' Charity of the Year again for 2016/17. Their support meant so much to us! At Woking & Sam Beare Hospices we place patients at the heart of everything we do.
